Synopsis: Who is the real Margo?

Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs into his life - dressed like a ninja and summoning him for a ingenious campaign of revenge - he follows. After their all-nighter ends, and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues - and they're for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees the girl he thought he knew...

Review: The plot was initially amazing, but it does slow down after the beginning of the novel. However, like with every John Green novel, I'm amazed by his ability to approach such a unique and tough subject of being understood. And he also manages to be funny while he does it. He's a writer where you  find yourself laughing one page and, a couple chapters later, you're wondering about big questions in life.

The characters are very real and interesting. It was also nice to relate to Q over the fact he has therapist parents because, like everyone who has a therapist for a parent knows, it's a unique experience. I also really enjoyed Margo's character and she was absolutely fascinating.

I did not love the ending, but there really was not another way to end the story.

Overall, a must read. Especially with the movie out! I have to say that it's a lot better than the movie and I would highly recommend reading it.
