Synopsis: In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.
Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress and excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she's just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.
When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai.Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.
Review: I enjoyed this book so much! This whole series is simply amazing. Like always the writing quality is excellent, the characters are enjoyable and lifelike, and the plotline is excellent. I also liked the introduction of Cress in this. While she technically appeared in the last book, she is a full-fleshed out character in this one.
Her eccentricities are so unique and lifelike that she seems very real. All the characters do despite the things that are obviously fiction. It is nice to have so many perspectives especially in this book as more are added each book.
There was a little taste of Lunar culture in this book and I am absolutely fascinated by that. It is so cool and I cannot wait to see more in the next book.
So excited for Fairest!
Rating: 5 STARS
I'm giving an awful lot of 5 star reviews lately, aren't I? Guess that's a good thing!
